Caroline Thomson

Caroline is a corporate communications manager with more than ten years’ experience, including four years as a director at Cannings Purple. She has broad professional experience including media and stakeholder relations, community consultation, issues and crisis management, internal communication, publications and online management. Caroline has worked in a variety of industries including resources, financial services, land development and education, and has worked with a diverse range of listed, private and government organisations.

Caroline was awarded the Public Relations Institute of Australia’s (PRIA) State Award for Excellence in 2011 for her work with Chinese iron ore developer Sinosteel Midwest Corporation in the area of stakeholder and community relations. She is a full member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communications) in Public Relations and Journalism.
