We are proud to announce that Purple has been recognised as an Employer of Choice in The Australian Business Awards (ABA) 2020.

Although we’ve won a host of awards over the years, both regionally and internationally, we are particularly delighted to be recognised as an Employer of Choice.

Annette Ellis is our CEO: “We invest a great deal in workplace culture and values, then hire people who share them.  This means that our values don’t live in a manual, or on a poster in the kitchen, they are reflected in behaviours that we hold each other accountable for and that’s a beautiful thing.

“Creating a workplace that offers a great culture and best practice in flexibility has been critical to our success. It has allowed us to attract and retain the best people to deliver the best outcomes for our clients, and for our business.”

Now in their fifteenth year, The ABA Employer of Choice Awards recognise organisations that maximise the full potential of their workforce through established policies and practices which demonstrate effective employee recruitment, engagement and retention.

Australian Business Awards Program Director, Tara Johnston said businesses which win the award demonstrate adaptability in the workplace by utilising flexible and new ways of working and learning.

“Leading organisations have begun to implement an entirely new working environment that breaks down communication barriers, positioning organisations to harness the talent within their organisation, transform the employee experience and position businesses to be more resilient,” Ms Johnston said.
